In a significant step towards empowering Kenya’s youth and bridging the gap between education and industry, the IndustryMeetsTalent team met with Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria, the Permanent Secretary (PS) for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The meeting showcased the IndustryMeetsTalent initiative’s groundbreaking approach to addressing industry pain points and creating work and entrepreneurship opportunities for the nation’s youth.
The presentation’s emphasis on action-oriented training, personalized coaching, and industry engagement drew immense interest. Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria extended a gracious invitation to present the initiative to public TVETs, signaling potential nationwide expansion and collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
